    Just to throw in my .02, for 04+ the HIGH beam is a 9005 and the LOW is 9006, and would we really have to disable the DRL's? I thought that our DRL's were the amber turn signals? If that's the case would we even have any issues just putting in HID's w/o doing anything else i.e: the adding or removal of relays or even a delay switch like Webracin has?

    Yes on 04-05 the DRL's are the fogs. They changed for 06-08. Mine are the low beam headlights and they run at 7-9 volts during daytime and full voltage at night. So to answer your question no wouldn't have the same problem I have. Not a real big deal just another thing that sucks about the 06+.

    You are correct with the numbers on the 04+. I checked sylvainia for lamps.

    9005 = 04+ High beam
    9006 = 04+ Low beam

    Based on this I'll go back with the 9006 6000K

    I'm not up on the 05 but they do run the fogs for daytime running lights. I don't know if the voltage is lower than full. I would guess that your OK,
    The fogs for 05 is the fogs list as 898,

    I thought it was the "amber" turn signal, thats in the same housing as the fog lights.

    Ok guys and gals...

    I finally got an email back from Dave, and I really didnt like what he had to say, and coupled with some of the other experiences others have had with VME, I decided to go with someone else.

    Dave wanted you guys to send me the money, and then me order the kits all at one time. I guess that way I would have to eat all the paypal charges and the shipping to your door.

    Anyway, I have found another deal that is real close to the same price shipped, and you can buy them out right. Just do me a favor.....when you order the lights and put in the bulb type, color, and daytime phone number as requested, put down GRANDPRIXFORUMS.NET under that....

    Here is the link, you guys can go ahead and buy whenever your ready.....PLEASE post up your thoughts of the kit...

    I don't know how they can get that cheap when standard type bulbs are $20 a pair. I have called all my reps who deal with HID's and none of them can get me anything even close (cheapest is over $200 dealer cost)

    just seems weird that the only place you find them is ebay, where a legitimate company can't even go double the price (I have access to chinese stuff and they can't even touch that deal)

    So what did you pay, delivered to your door? While the ad shouts $68, inside it's closer to $114.... ?

    $68.98 shipped. i also recommend to get the harness from this guy. $15 shipped he ship the harness over nite, so you get it the next day. for the hid kit you'll get it in like 3 days. btw both the hid and harness were on clubgp group buy.

    Interesting. Just to be clear, $68.98 for dual beam tilting/telescopic HID kit? This kit includes the control harness to keep the HID's on going from high to low? Where is the price adjustment taken from the $49 for the kit and $65 for shipping?

    i didn't get the dual beam so i'm not sure on that. i ordered a 6000k, i never see any little blue hue like they said. it's mostly all white but that doesn't matter it's the brghtness that i like.
