i'll try to keep this relatively short, but i'm new to the FWD platform, and i'm trying to figure out what direction i wanna go in as far as exhaust is concerned. i'm used to the RWD Fbody platform, so with setup i feel it's gonna take a bit more consideration to make the best decision lol. i've dont alot of research here on the forum and have seen that alot of people recommend keeping the stock mufflers on their GP's and instead replacing the resonator with a glasspack. i plan to go with a Y pipe dual setup similar to a GP setup on my Buick, so i'll obviously have to replace my muffler, but i'm looking for opinions on replacing my resonator with a long glasspack, and splitting off after the glasspack to run dual tips, no mufflers. i know it'll be on the loud side, but i'm looking for sound quality opinions. if anyone knows of a muffler setup that would give me decent volume; but more importantly an enjoyable tone, please lemme know!
