I have a 2006 Grand Prix 4 door . The driver side door doesn't unlock. It should automatically unlock when the car is turned off and key is removed is how I have it programmed. I have a 4 door and the other 3 doors unlock but not the driver door. Also using the keyless remote when I approach my car and I attempt to unlock it. The passenger, and 2 rear doors unlock but not the driver side. Anyone know how to fix this? Thanks

Will it lock using the remote? The actuator may be bad

if it also dont work when you hit the lock/unlock button on the door, the lock actuator is bad.

Thanks NavyBlue and Scottydoggs for your quick replies. The remote wouldn't unlock or lock my driver side door but the other 3 doors of the car worked perfectly. Also I tried using the lock/unlock on the door itself and it wouldn't work. Strange thing though this morning everything is working fine for the driver side door as if nothing was ever wrong with it. Wonder why that is? Anyway Ill get the actuator checked/fixed. Do you know how much they typically cost for the part and install? Is their a link on this site with easy step by steps for me to install it? Thanks again for all your help

its inside the door, you take the inside door skin off and its by the door handle area. cant see it being more then a 20 dollar part.

theres a chance it froze, or its just taking the slow death route.

When they go bad, they can just work whenever they feel like it. Our Ram's door actuator does the same thing.
