I saw it had a brake upgrade pkg for W bodies i dont know if that is all years? It says that these parts are already on Impalas? Does anyone know what years would work and what you would need off a donor car and if these are just Impala only pieces i believe a sway bar also? Will this work on my 98 regal gs?

yes, 06 impala brakes bolt right up. u need calipers, brackets, pads and rotors. cheaper to buy them yourself VS getting those premade kits.

The op is referring to 00-05 impala brakes/sway bar.

Gmpp sway bar only came on cop/taxi models iirc.

06+ impala front brakes are better again but require new pads/rotors/calipers specific to that generation.

    Your rears are fine.

Gxp rears provide similar braking force for a whole bunch more monies. Only worth it for bling.

That is, only for 97-03 gp. 04-08 gp had a smaller caliper so the gxp is an improvement there.

why not just get F body brakes? you still need to change all the same stuff.

98 Buick Regal GS, F body brakes, Caddy STS wheels, tinted tails L36 bottom end, lightly ported heads, 1.95 roller rockers, headers, gen 5 N* 3.0 pulley, FSIC, 42 lb injectors, a BrandonHall rebuilt trans, DHP tuned and AEM water/Meth injection https://goo.gl/gpV5kW

06+ impala uses same size pots in caliper yet its iron so no clamshell.

    Rotor is the same size.

Also pads are less expensive. Rotors are more expensive though.

So it comes down to 100% bolt in and more reliable caliper or some weight savings.

just go to your local picknpull like I did and get the rotors, caliper brackets and caliper slide pins from any 2001 and up monte carlo, or 2000 up impala have the rotors turned, buy new pads and slap it all together the calipers are the same as the new ones and just need the pins to work . I just did this and it works great up graded from the stock 11 in rotor to the 12 and it only cost about 20 for the rotors,16 to turn them, 8 for the brackets and 32 for new pads and it is the same as the gmpp upgrade but not with the 331.00 price .GM Parts Direct: 12498644 - Brake Upgrade Kit (12" rotors)
