hottest ones you can get away with.

    AL 104's or 605's.

    stock
    605
    104
    103

    thats hottest to coldest

you want to run the hottest plug you can get away with, like matt said. So running a 103 is way too cold for your mods.

Went with AL 104's xp iridium....tried putting my headers on. Literally worked on it for 24+hours, cant get them to fit. My trans dipstick is in the way, and the front ac line rubs the the front header...bit off more than I could handle. Taking it to a shop and then the shop is just gonna throw my pulley and belt on and tune it after they put the exhaust on. Been a awesome week..

You just didn't know that your trans tube needs to be bent up to make the togs fit. It's a real pain, zzp sells one IIRC. As for the AC line.. push down on it. It'll gently move.
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.

So I'm guessing this is the dipstick everyone was talking about? I was thinking oil..oh and while taking off my dp a bolt was stripped already so I had to cut it off. This will be best I would say this way I'll get it done, and take it back in a week and have em re tighten it all. I had like 8 buddies come over that actually know quite a bit about cars. We couldn't do it..I'm just excited to get it back. Does the trans dipstick leak if you move it around a lot cuz we were pushing it and pulling and some red liquid ended up on the ground. Oh and found out I have to get my upper gasket replaced even better right!?

If you mash a seal around that is under the level of fluid will it leak. Yes...you caused the leak.

And yes.. they are going to rape you for dicking with that tube all day.

I run AL 605s which are 1 range colder than stock in my car that made 350whp without an intercooler. I'd say keep with the stock plug or if you really feel the need to get a colder plug then go with the 605. Anything colder is overkill. Your gas mileage will suffer, you'll get fouling, and overall the car won't run as good, among other things.

colder plugs are mostly unnecessary, just like colder thermostats.

So what can they do about it? Fix the seal?

They might not need to. It's a thick rubber seal with like three rings of seal to the tube. It should be ok as long as the tube is pushed in far enough.

what happened to my buddies impala was when we went to put tranny fluid in, it came right out. i wasnt thinking straight and dicked with the pan gasket until i came to realize how can it be pouring straight out if the pan isnt even full? traced the leak where the bracket is on the tube to attach to the tranny. the bracket pulled away from it where it is spot welded/riveted (whatever it was)...some jb weld and an hour later and it was good to go.

I wasn't sure if it was a reputable place to to tune. I've had a cpl buddies that took they're very expensive builds to places that say they can tune it, and ended up blowing up his engine...several times! Not to mention dropping it off of a hoist, getting overspray paint from another car on it and other problems. So im real leary on just taking it anywhere.
