when I change the mode from vent to floor, floor to vent, etc., there is no change in the direction of air flow through the venting system. Any help with this please?

probabaly the vacumme line to the controller is cracked, I replaced mine with a piece of metal brake tubing passing through beside the automatic shifter cable (stock goes through a wiring harness)

ps some people see multiple posts from the same person in different sections and ignore them all, i section works. (most do a view todays posts and see all of them anyway.)

the vacumme line comin g from the engine should be a hard black plastic line with a black rubber elbow. I have not seen a non-auto climate controller so I can't con firm exactly where it goes. but it should enter a wiring harness that passes through the firewall, check for vacumme here. You will probabaly have to look from under the glovebox on the passanger's side. The port on the engine should be one of the tees on top of the supercharger. (unsure about 97's 98+ are tied in beside the brake booster vacumme.)

it's likely a vacuum line or your blend door motor/s.

    97 GT - slow, rusty
93 CTD - more slow, less rust
