I replaced the outer tie rods on my car.
on one side i lost the grease fitting (the old one didnt have them)
so i covered it with some sealant.
Im about to take it in for inspection, think it will cause any issues?

Do they look that much into detail?
As long as when they do the hub check for movement it is solid, I don't think they will care.
There are non greasable tie rod ends so the fact that there is no zerk in there means nothing when it comes to inspection. All that matters is movement when they check for it.
I'm with Scott.. If you don't put one in and grease it, you'll be replacing it very soon.
For my inspections, they check: horn, windshield wipers, headlights, taillights, and turn signals. Give them your insurance card, done.
Wtf is an inspection lol?

i just went out and bought a zerc for it.
The state I live in requires yearly inspections of vehicles to check they are in "safe" working order.
basically they make sure you can see, bee seen, and control the car.
