Today my 97 gtp started making a strange noise when it was in gear and throttle was applied.(it is normal in neutral) It is a whirring noise that happens whether i am moving or not and changes pitch with rpm speed. Here is a video of it. I don't know if it is tranny related or what.

sounds like the trannys slipping, but your also in a parking garage, so who knows.

ya the parking garage made it show up better on camera. It is pretty loud. Between that noise and the open cone it really turns some heads.

hows the steering feel? the fluid could be low.

or the trans pump is starving for fuild from a clogged up filter or something.

It definitely is not the power steering. I have heard that before. I just had the filter and oil changed a couple thousand miles ago but how would I check that?
It seems like it could be the torque converter. Would that be possible?
