On my 1996 Grand Prix 3.1 ive consistently have problems with the clip that holds the glass into the window channel on drivers side, the clip that is supposed to be secured to the glass with an original adhesive. Once the. window fall out of the channel I have to remove door panel retrieve the clip at the inside bottom of door , I've tried gluing, apoxing, even the rear view mirror glue. All of it works for a day or two but eventually pops off. I'm fed up with it failing to adhere. I've tried looking at different part stores for a new clip but they all have the kind that fold over the edge of the glass and snaps into a little hole that's factory made into the glass, mine doesn't have a hole into the glass. Every time I go back into the door to get the clip I must clean off the old glue before tring to resecure it to the glass I clean off old glue so the clip might be loosing some of its thickness holding it tight onto the glass Has any of you dealt with this kind of problem and what did you do.
