    Hey guys,

So when driving home from school today, not only did I have a high trans temp (thats another thread) but I also noticed some Kr when trying to pass people. I'm currently on a 3.5, headers, an intense pcm and AL104's gapped to .055. I noticed anywhere from a couple degrees to 5* sometimes. I also see about 2-3* on WOT pulls in first gear. My question is, Are the plugs the correct plugs I should be using? Any other Ideas on what could cause this? Both o2 sensors are new and reporting to me correctly. Should I search for a tune from someone else? Reptile? I have a small exhaust leak pre Cat but after the front o2 sensor that I will be trying to fix tomorrow. Does this have an effect? Any other ideas on getting rid of this kr?

I can do some things today to help get rid of it for the drive back tomorrow.

    Thanks,

    Chris

Anyone think Autolite 605's would be better? Safely modding your 3800 says 104's

I think 104s are fine for your application. What are your fuel trims looking like at wot? Of no wv whats 02 readings? If your leaning out would cause some kr. What kind of timing is set from intense as well? With your mods you should be fine on a 3.4 let alone seeing kr on a 3.5.

I'll have to log those trims. I used to be running really rich until the top o2 sensor was changed (twice but I think I found a good one) and now my mileage is more normal. It looks to be switching normally on the torque app. For the timing, I don't know. I bought the car with the pcm so I really don't know anything about it. It says Standard on it if that means anything.

It's most likely due to your converter not unlocking fast enough when you go to pass someone.

So would my trans being at 225* cause that?

Just found that my clamp from the crossover to the rear header is very loose. That should throw off my o2 values? Thus giving me kr?

It could but that would throw your trims off. Any ses light? Trans temp seems way high..my gxp was at 230 degrees and then the tc took a dump,..

Alternatively, shifting to 3 before passing would also cure this.
