Can I still use a na motor and can I use the stock bottom end or should I go a different route

Yes you can use a n/a bottom end, the compression ratio is going to be higher though. And DO NOT touch the bottom end.
You probably don't want do that.. Very seldom do guys have goodluck when they start messing with the bottom end.. Just get a good n/a motor.. And leave the bottom end alone.. There's a reason the big HP Turbo guys still run stock bottom ends..

It was an l67 bottom end.
last i saw a rebuilt crate block was over a grand, for a short block, long blocks go up to 2 grand easy.
last guy here who did all the right things to rebuild his engine, machine shop costs and parts was also over 2 grand. why a used engine is the choice most of us make.
I Know where you can get a motor under 10 miles shipped to your door. But gotta have money ready
then you spend $150-200 and regasket everything and you have cheap new to you motor

Stock Bottom end, 25 PSI Turbo build, XP Cam.... Stay stock bottom end.
Stock head bolts right nowTicking time bomb
Big cam and heads are not in...yet![]()
I have heads and and ST5 in my basement, along with a double roller. Head studs on the way then the 600+ wHP fun begins.
