    First off, what? Drill a hole in the piping and stick it in there. Done. I've never heard of anyone just leaving it in the engine bay and putting a "Mini Filter" on it. And, if we are getting technical, it's really called an "IAT Sensor."

    I have no idea why you are getting so anal hurt over Scotty. He's quite a knowledgeable guy on this forum. No one is arguing that nobody has ever ran a VC Breather on a 3800. Calm down, chump.

    To clarify things... there's a few reasons why people use a Valve Cover Breather on these cars.

    1: Gen V Swap and was too lazy to create a functional PCV.
    2: Turbo
    3: Someone running an intercooler without a PCV hole in the core and once again, was to lazy to create a functional PCV.

    i see i got a bunch of guys who got my back here lol its all good. my skin it rather thick.


    you should have seen me telling off this towel head in the super market parking lot. if not for the fact i know theres cameras all over the lot, i'd have gotten out and beaten him silly. he had the balls to get out of his car too. clearly he had no clue who would have been getting out. all 6'6" and 250 lb of me. he looked to be about 5 foot nothing with NY plate lol tough guy huh?

    if any of you saw the move this jerk off pulled you want to punch his face too.

    i should have rolled with my camera. but i was running the t app lol

    there was a car pulling out of a spot, its like 3 spots form the end of the lane of spots, so this asshole pulls in while the car is leaving the spot, im leaving a ton of room on my side, but the car leaving cant get out cause this jerk off is just parked block the car from leaving they really cant go either way, so im leaning on the horn like a monster for god knows how long lol then the car leaving pulls back in the spot.

    during this waiting game of BS, his girl gets out and just walks to the store, like ok, been here before. im with a moron.

    all this jack ass had to do was back up 10 feet, and the car could have left but noooooooooooooooooooooooo. capt asshole is not moving.

    as he passed me in the lane i shouted some choice words, he yelled back like what? and i told him once again hes a f ing asshole and should learn how to drive, GO HOME! and then he wanted to fight lol i drove off slow watching him yell f you at me as i waved bye bye.

    if he came to my door it would have been on like donkey kong tho lol i gave him plenty of time to walk the 5 or 6 feet to me.

    He is. He'll give you the time to understand and work with you no matter how dumb you are. I haven't been on this site as long as him and I don't put up with half the sh!t he does. I've met him in person and he's a funny stand up guy. Saved my ass when I found a sweet deal on a Gen V lol

    When I got my 40th anni GTP it had a Spectre cone clamped to the TB, with the AIT sensor zip tied below the clamp. No codes, ever. Air only flows across that thing, not through it. If you make a pipe bend intake, yes drill a hole and maybe use a rubber grommet or RTV sealant if that will hold it. As long as the sensor is right against the filter, you're golden. No need to get it into the piping but that is best because it keeps the sensor clean and more isolated from exhaust crossover heat.

    Sdogg is def the GPF help champ, but nobody needs to have a toe stepped on. If its any help, well I have found over the years on many forums that if a guy get to postin when he has his buzz on, thats when real trouble starts. Folks also gotta keep in mind that in order to be clearly understood, you'll have to use reasonably proper english. Despite the rest of the world communicating 140 characters or less at a time. Some things can be taken more than one way, y'know?
    All Grand Prix, all the time. 69 Model J, 99 GT & GTP coupes. All junk, haha.
