the BCM will not enter programming mode for me to program remote. the only other anomaly is It will appear accept lock mode change to 4, but after fuse is installed, it is still in mode 3. otherwise all the car goodies function fine. When I do the acc off back on quickly to enter remote program mode, it sits there and digs once, twice, three times and repeats a couple time before stopping, that doesn't seem like a valid trouble code as far as i can tell. I programmed a remote okay a year ago, now i have the above issues, even with new remote.
So the question is, if I buy the AC delcounit, will it install and allow me to program it, or is some factory scan tool needed? what scares me, is on the rockauto website, the Cardone make of BCM says some factory programming is required, but no such info for acdelco
