    Hello again!
I went to get into my car today and notice my window was down a bit, it was up after i washed my car yesterday so i tried putting it back up and i heard a strange noise. Got the door panel off and was looking at how the pulley system worked for the power window regulator. i noticed that one of the cables was not attacked to anything on one end so i took out the whole assembly. Looking at where the cable sits i noticed that it looked different from where the other three hook in. To me it looks like the plastic around the area broke so its not able to hold that end in anymore. I was able to get it back in and i tried the window switch and the cable just pop'd back out. It was not attached to the window at the time either. My question is do i need to get a whole new assembly because that one plastic piece broke? Car is a 2002 Pontiac Grand Prix Coupe.

Most likely time to buy a new regulator assembly. You can likely re-use the factory motor. Make sure the regulator is for a coupe (2 door) and not a sedan.
