    On my 04 grand prix had the engine light on so hooked up my code reader and got P0446 and read it can be the evap solenoid canister so went and got a new evap solenoid just want to make sure I got the right part went to the gm dealer and got the part with a upgraded hareness part # 20941985 just got to wait to warm up outside

    is that for the top of the canister in the rear quarter? if so make sure the tank has no gas in it, and that all the lines to it and the solenoid are solid.

    Interesting.. I did the canister on Sam's old 03 with about a half tank. No issues

    i was referring to the canister tank. if its got gas inside it theres a problem.

    sure is. its under the gas door. if you look up from under the car you'll see it.

    unplug the battery while you work on it, that will clear the code, then you just wait to see if it comes back or not in a day or two.

    ok was going to make attempt to fix it and tryed my impact to ge the lug nuts off so got the breaker bar and got 3 off and stripped the other 2 lug nuts when I got my winter tires on don't know what they used to tighten the lug nuts but on there super tight is there anyway to remove the stripped ones?

    that sucks. not sure never had that problem. dont know if you can get a nut spliter in a wheel

    yes it does suck all the other lug nuts on the tires came right off

    got one of the stripped ones off just going to take it to a shop tomorrow to get a new stud and lug nut

    the shop got it off and changed the part when I got home and cleared the engine light now to see if it stays off
