I'm strongly considering putting a LS4 in my gp. Has anyone done this yet, and if anyone has please help me out. Thanks everyone.

I think it would be a cool/different swap. I'd like to see someone do it. The LS4 has major potential, hopefully the aftermarket will come around one day. For now though, alot of LSx parts will work for it, for people willing to do it...
I've already got it in my mind now to do it. When the weather breaks this spring I'm gonna get started. My only concern is how I'll have to wire everything. As far as mounting the engine in, I'm sure it won't be a problem. If anyone has suggestions please feel free to let me know. Thanks everyone.
Bolt it to the frame
How about an LS1?
Someone has already put a LS1 in a GP. I just can't find the thread on here with the swap write up. I remember it being very complicated or I could be wrong. I just wish that I could remember where the link was.
I found this link and now I am jealous. Still seems like a lot more work to do this than drop the LS4 in there.

i debated the LS4 swap...waste of time and money. L67 or L32 is the way to go. for the LS4 it uses a CAN bus not OBDII so you must rewire EVERYTHING, BCM,TCM, everything, total waste in my opinion. especially with no aftermarket. the LS motor is meant to go one way and thats RWD. thats like a girl with big boobs getting a breast reduction, you dont slap god in the face.
I found a site a long time ago from someone who did it in a 1999-ish Monte Carlo. It's not a drop-in solution in the older cars. IIRC, he had to move the radiator supports forward by 2", and do a lot of other fabrication, to make it fit.
I don't know how much of this would apply to your GP, but I assume the engine bays on all of the older W bodies weren't designed to fit the LS4.
Seems like a lot of work, time, and money for virtually no gain other than for show and the satisfaction of having done so.
