I just picked up a 98 grand Prix. Its pretty rough but has potential I think. And i got it cheap.

Anyways I can hear the blower motor running and have taken it out and checked it. It works just fine. Looking at the fins it spins counter clockwise and according to the arrow on it its moving in the right direction.

The black vaccum line coming from the motor has vacuum. There is less vacuum that comes out to the purple line but there is some. But i have felt the other lines and there is none going to the different flap/doors.

I didn't know if the electronic heater controls go out or if there is something else that is more common.

Also, the little air coming out is not that warm so i don't think the flap/door to the heater core is opening.

If anybody has any ideas i would appriciate it.

I fixed a vacuum leak that i had on the motor i found today and tryed the heater. I have heat now and it now switches between the different locations. (BTW it had vacuum before but not enough obvously) BUT IT still isn't blowing very hard. I have a lot of air coming out around the blower so i don't think its sealed up right. I think tomorrow im going to take the blower out and make sure its put back together and sealed up propperly.
