I tried searching and read up in a few forums/google results but nothing is giving me a concrete answer. Apologies in advance if this has been answered.

Car is a 2000 GTP. Last week the check engine light popped up well cruising. I'm not going WOT as its slick as hell on every road around here. Greaaaat. Parked the car and was going to get it scanned in the AM. Woke up without a code.

Drove it fine for a week without a code. Today it popped up again. I had enough tracking down scan tools and went out to buy one. It read P0332 Knock Sensor 2 Circuit Low Input (Bank 2)

Does this mean my sensor is malfunctioning or I'm getting knock? I've never had a problem before. I'm running togs with a catted down pipe and always 91 octane. It definitely does not sound like engine knock. It runs great without any noise at all.

Ill check around and make sure its not some frayed wires or anything, but the fact that it went away and now is just coming back worries me. How does the car tell you if you're knocking? Is this the indicator that I am in fact knocking? I had an 01 GT that had some HORRIBLE top end knock. The top end was starved of oil and she seized up on me. No codes ever popped up other than the LOW OIL *too late you're toast* light.

I have an aeroforce sitting here that I have to install. I better get on it sooner rather than later.

Thanks guys.
