I've got a 99 GTP w/a relay that's supposed to power on my accessories (Last I believe seeing, the power line held maybe 13v or so?). My simple solution to make everything work perfectly fine w/out a problem, is to take a 12awg wire and jump the connections. Now I'm not driving this car actively yet, as I'm debating on making it a project car or an a-to-b destination car. Anywho, my ADD has taken over again.

Only way everything powers on (power windows, remote lock/trunk release, stereo [I will touch on later], climate control, and my display area [boost, mpg, etc]) is if I were to like I said above, jump it with a wire. So ofc, after finding out that relay is what's causing my issues I looked into it. Kinda got baffled with it too, I'm no electrician for car wire harnesses though I don't think the most a relay is supposed to get when powered on is 0.587v...

With key off & out = 0.475v
With Key turned to accessory = 0.545v
With car running = 0.587v

These were tested three times in a row, give or take 0.02v for each listed. I thought the relay was supposed to get a low amp 12v supply to trigger the relay? I had already replaced it with a brand new relay to triple check myself, though to no prevail I failed. So, does this sound familiar to anyone out there? I've got wire diagrams from a Haynes manual, though I'm not experienced one bit in reading them nor what to look for. Big thank you's in advance!

[said I'd touch on the stereo later] - there were four previous owners, hence why I said I'm debating on making it a project car where I strip everything out and have fun with it over the years. With those four owners, one of them had the bright idea of installing an aftermarket stereo. With that stereo, I found came with all the power wires connected together (I'm nearly 100% sure this is what initially caused my accessory relay issue, maybe burned something out..) So constant 12v battery, and ignition on power supply cables (orange and red I believe? or yellow and red.. Not the dimmer wire, you know what I'm talking about) are all connected together. Though it still works fine if I am to connect the relay with the jumper cable.

NOW, the funny thing is that I'm not experienced enough to fully understand. Is when both power wires going TO the radio are connected, everything works fine. Though if I were to connect all the wires the way they SHOULD be connected, nothing powers on (windows, climate control, display area, etc).
