So I hooked up a new head unit in my car today. When I was hooking the battery back up it sparked a few times pretty good... I turn over the key. Car starts(rough) head unit works fine but the amps won't turn on and the trunk release won't work. Then when I started the car the check engine light was on so I scanned and got a p0107 code. It's definitely from low voltage somewhere... Just not sure how to fix the no amp issue and y woukd the code pop up.

    zero fuses blown!

so I cleared the code cause it made no sense to me. then I took out the alpine dvd deck and all its components and hooked back up the kenwood, everything is now back to normal. the guy that sold me the dvd deck on the other hand is going to be sorry when both his legs r broken...

It was hooked up properly. I even hooked it up in my house a second time and the thing has all types of errors. When the amps finally decided to turn on they would.cut in and out.... There's an issue with the unit plain and simple. The seller is.now avoiding me. I called from a friends phone, he answers and realized it was me so he hung up... His mistake was not knowing that I know where his house is. I'm simply gonna ask for my subs back(was a trade)... Really hope he gives them back.
Anyone have a way to get my stuff back without being violent?
