Oh well yeah, but why would anyone replace a stock cam with a stock cam? That is just straight up stupid.

Lol. I'm glad someone caught the sarcasm.
I would say the "CAI" box is a worthless mod. I didn't think so before I read this sticky.

I almost dished out $250 to $300 for this mod.
Good point. Ill add it to the first post.
Adding the number 2 to your car and a miller lite scheme...
Slick how about ZZPs voltage boosters?

That's not worthless
I was going to put that one down too DinoGuy, but i didn't have proof it didn't work.
Yeah those do work but the big 3 is much better upgrade when compared to that.
I mean they work yeah but worthless in my eyes.

Nah. They are worth it. Helps the injectors keep up.
Wheres the thread that has some dyno proof on people with less than 300-350 not gaining HP. from that mod? Im referring to Catback exhaust BTW
Well looks like auston is fighting for CAIs

What do you want for GPF? There is never proof, only hearsay. Why not measure exhaust backpressure and datalog or dyno the results for proof. It'd be pretty easy to show gains in MAF readings if the exhaust truly did increase VE. Or again, shown on a dyno.
I think anything not on the following list is either not worth mentioning or not worth bragging about:
-Cam
-Intercooler
-Head work
-Power adder
If it ain't there, who the **** cares. It isn't going to magically net you more power unless you didn't select the right components to go with the other things on the list.
For example, top swap: without headers, it's a waste of time. You'll be on too large a pulley to make decent power.
Cam: without the proper valve springs, timing chain, push rods, rockers etc, again waste of time.
As for the details of how you get things done, that's up to the individual. There are certain products that work better than others, and everyone has their own standard for what is good enough. At the end of the day, it's your car, you're the one who has to live with it.
Well what about the magnaflow cat-back exhaust for our cars? Magnaflow "claims" 12 hp and 12 ft lbs tq gain. IDK if they are being honest or what but they say it was done on a stock GTP
K&N states an increase of 13hp gain on the box for their intake too.
