That was my thought as well. Thats why I posted this =P
Might be leaded if it's a 90 octane race fuel.
Otherwise race fuel or C16 if you wanna call it whatever is 116 octane. But they make 110 or I've seen 104 in the states aswell.
Well I just filled up with shell 93 octane and I'm going to change out my o2 sensors .and take it to get a good professional tune.. Like I said earlier since the tune up, she's running like a champ at part to half throttle.. Even seems like she's shifting better.. Soon as I give it full throttle, she spikes to 6 or 7 knock..I started getting a p0420 code this past summer. And would happen while sitting in traffic..

I guess I'm uninformed, but is't it bad to run leaded fuel through cars? Every car I've ever seen is 'unleaded only'
You don't need the lead and yes it's bad for newer cars and it's emissions components. Lead was a lubricant for the valves in older cars.
So in my 99GTP with no cat or res... ?
I don't have any desire to run it, just trying to get a bit more info
Ah I see. It's good to know this stuff because I've had friends ask me questions like that beforw. And I usually tell people that if it's not recommended, don't try it. Lol
mine with i gotta figure 230,000 miles on it was a bit slow, put a new one in saw a small gain. not much tho as i do mostly local driving.
get a acdelco sensor too. rockauto sells them pretty cheap.
or a DENSO o2 Sensor
yup, my latest dash pic from a few days ago.

and to day my mpg avg dropped to 14.8 lol
theres engines here with more, a few over 300,000.
If I don't get rid of this knock, I won't see those kinds of miles
