Yeah after measuring everything it doesn't seem like it would be much of a hp difference and I won't have to deal with the leaks and or issues that I have had with the headers...then if I actually do go turbo will be alot faster swap

vette, if you decide not to switch I'll buy your headers :-)
or if you do.. I might buy your plog... I still cant decide. Bonnies don't have the restictive downpipe/ubend so idk if i even need a downpipe..

I'll let you know sometime this weekend bud. They come in the mail on Friday, and I am starting to wonder if I should take the time/effort to take off my whole setup as it sits just to put on these headers that may not gain me much. I will shoot you a PM Friday/Saturday time frame and let you know man!

If I could do it all over again I would have kept my plog and 3in dp honestly. I have had some issues even still nearly 6 months later after my header install, mainly exhaust leaks and this nagging front o2 sensor issue.

Yesh I'm in it about 2 years and from the get go my crossover never fit so always leaked a little at the front connection...I changed it to a v band connection last weekend and now the rear slip fit is leaking...my o2 has always hit from time to time and now all the welds are rusting...so since I didn't find a huge difference in primaries I'm swapping back

from what i understand, plog and DP combo is only good for ~300WHP. More than that and it becomes a restriction and headers are needed

    Not really.

The catback becomes the restriction around that point.

It's odd...I've installed tons of headers and really had no exhaust leaks. Erich's cars don't count. I'm sure it's not the car...but the owner.
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.

Yeah it is prob me but after messing with those headers enough times I moved on...plus if I go turbo in the future this makes it faster to switch over

When I first installed my SD headers, I had leaks... I used the clamps that came with the kit. Threw those in the trash, bought the EZ seal band clamps, no more issues.

I had speed daddy set. Couldn't get to go on engine on the engine stand. Need the engine in the car so that I could pry harder.

    Never installed.
