I have the stock flex in my sd's 3.5 years later. Crossover never gave me any issue and the port line up just like my zzp ones do. I'd go sd over anything else but that's because I'm cheap and easy lol

The PLOG that I had was garbage so even made in America from ZZP is not 100% good quality, the flange was welded on backwards so some of the stud bolts did not line up with the engine block and the flange also warped

There is a bolt that if left in the head will hit the plog. Not sure if that's the issue.

The bolt is under #5 spark plug holding heat shield. I ground the head of mine down to clear.

The bolt. Also they are only available in stainless now. Before I believe they were steel.

I am running a used re-welded zzp power log. I have had it on my car for 3 years and no new cracks as of yet. I saw this product on Jay Leno's Garage that looked interesting called "Lab Metal High Temp". It is a liquid metal puddy-like substance that you can coat on cracked manifolds, cross overs, headers, etc. to fill in and permanently seal the cracks. You coat it on less than 1/4 inch and let it air dry for 12 to 16 hours then you bake it by running the car for an hour to cure it. I am looking to test this product when my power log eventually cracks.

Here is the link to the video
    http://youtu.be/RWisGeUpHHc

Just search for "lab metal high temp" on your favorite search engine and check for prices.

If anyone has a cracked manifold and would like to try this method of resealing please try it and let us know!

Wish I had a dyno close by for cheap. I am currently running a PLOG and 3" downpipe setup, and will be switching to headers very soon. Would be nice to get before and after dyno runs made...

I have a PLOG and 3" DP and I too am looking to move to headers.

Running an XP cam and 3.25" and 3.4" pulley right now and curious to see what difference the headers will make!
I want to get 1.75" ID primaries, so looking at ZZP and pacesetter headers.

Still waiting to get my headers in the mail. Curious why you're switching from headers to PLOG/DP?
