    Can anyone tell me what size the exhaust bolts are? Length and their hardness or whatever they are suppose to be? My downpipe snapped today after the cat before the res and I'm going to have to replace it. Everything is so rusty I'm guessing I'm going to have to either cut the bolts or they'll break and want to be prepared. Don't want to be half way done and have to run to a store.

    ive been just grabbing a pair of 9/16 head bolts and nuts that are about a inch and 1/2 long, with 4 washers, one for each side for both bolts and nuts.

    the hole is pretty large.

    98 Buick Regal GS, F body brakes, Caddy STS wheels, tinted tails L36 bottom end, lightly ported heads, 1.95 roller rockers, headers, gen 5 N* 3.0 pulley, FSIC, 42 lb injectors, a BrandonHall rebuilt trans, DHP tuned and AEM water/Meth injection https://goo.gl/gpV5kW

    Cool thanks I'll grab some of those in the next couple days. Do they need to be a certain strength or will any do?

    ive been using the normal of the shelf bolts, they cost like a buck or two for everything. they all rust sooner or later.

    I went with grade 8 bolts for not much more $.
    02 GTP - Cartuning Turbo Kit VS67 3" DP, 80#INJ, N*,LQ4 MAF, Custom Cam, Roller Rockers, 130#, P&P Heads, Meth, AL103's, Corn fed, 522WHP on a mustang dyno, HP Tuners by me.
