Was driving my car (00 3800 camaro) and oil pressure dropped from gauge indicated 60-70 psi to 15-30.. drained the oil pan and this was in it. Anyone know what it is? http://imgur.com/BgFf52J

Man..from the picture you sent last night..couldn't tell. It is definately the end of the dipstick tube.

Pull the timing cover to check pump, not pan.
