I need someone to damn near sit down with me and teach it to me, but from the looks of things that will never happen and i'll never get to learn it. I hate owning something and I cannot understand it one bit. I'll admit, i'm not much of a computer guy, but damn the PT looks soo complicated. I'm wondering if i'll understand an HPT more, since i'll probably never learn the PT.

I'll help ya all I can. If you need some screen shots or whatever just let me know. I'll sit down with ya and explain all I can to you.

Hit me up on msn if you have it. TDCRacing@live.com is my email

If not just send me an email at topdeadcenterracing@cox.net and we can go over what ever you want.

Also, there is alot of software you can use with the PT to make it very user friendly!
For the $$$, I'm happy with my PT...
For support, I got the shaft...
Would I trade? Well, if Lisa would let me Turbo her 4.0L Mustang, sure I would!
Will I buy a HPTuner,... You bet I will, one day...
Will I sell my PT, not likely...

Really? I was told by a pt user that that didn't exist. What exactly is it called on PT? It works the exact same?

I don't have MSN chat thing, I do have AIM though. Where do I sign up? I have a hotmail account if that matters.

I've got a few PMs about Eddie's SDT, so here's the link to his DL:

Table Modifier - The Scan Data Thingy

The Tiny Tuner - On the WEB!
    username: tinytuner / password: ontheweb

I can not attest to any other software affair mentioned in the posts above...

The Scan Data Thingy is the greatest. Load in your info, load up some scan files, and let it work it's magic. It'll adjust your MAF tables, your VE tables, your spark tables, etc. It can even write the changes right back into your bin, or you can choose to import them yourself into the tuner.

I actually tried to use that to do a maf tune with hpt and it worked horribly for me. So I guess I was doing something wrong. Probably something simple too.

I also know that we lack a lot of tables that the ls1 guys get.

I have HPT and I was really lost at first, but after doing a ride along with JoshMcMadMac I got a better feeling about it. It was pretty basic stuff we worked with but enough to boost my confidence to dabble further on my own.

How does it do all this? Do you somehow tell it what you want? Kinda lost

You input your scan data, then your BIN file...
It takes what you told it & makes changes,...
You can save them to your BIN, rename it and wallah...

Read Jerry's tuning guide. It goes over how to use that program. So does the original download page.
