hopefully this is a easy fix !!! my girlfriends son inherited her 2000 GP (3.1) when he turned 16 . on sunday he ran it out of gas , called , i ran a couple gallons gas to him , car wouldnt start . the temps that day were sub-zero's so i'm wondering if maybe there was some moisture in the lines that froze up .
the shop it was towed to doesnt have any diagnostic equipment to hook up to it ( i know , get with the times , but they are a good bunch of guys) and they added more gas and it still doesnt start , they pushed it into the shop for the night hoping it would warm up and what ever froze would thaw out .
is there maybe a safety feature of some sort in the fuel pump that would shut it down with no fuel that needs to be re-set ? if it doesnt start after sitting in the shop over night i will have to get it to a shop that can hook up an OBD.
any suggestions ??
