First I would check the blending door. A llot of times, over the years, they'll get dirt and grim on them and stick. If that's not the probllem, then I would move to the controls.

I am not sure if the blend door is for that as well, but you can check that and see if there is another one that controls the flow to the floor. O haven't been that far into the system to know for sure.

the blend door is probably the most likely cause of the no heat to floor issue. if it is mechanically actuated check the linkages cuz they tend to break. if its elecrically operated the actuater or servo that operates that door may be bad. also check cabin filter, that causes some low air movement when fan is on high.

make sure everything is ok with your radiator/thermostat/fluid etc. My coolant elbow took a dump and I lost a lot of fluid, on the way to Brian's for repair, I noticed that the heat would blow only mildy warm, then cool, then warm. Heater core was acting up under those conditions.

ive been told by some machanics that if im getting some what warm air then the heater core isnt bad. i just changed the controls today and that didnt seem to make a difference. im going to try the thermostat but i rly dont think that is the problem.
