What would cause this?
the wire from the seat belt broke, or came unplugged. follow the clip part by the console down and under the seat, you'll see a black wire coming off the part that gets bolted to the floor.
Wow fast replies. Thanks Scotty and red. Could it be the buckle itself if the wires aren't the problem?
Okay just checking all my bases. Thanks guys
Lol I dont think my wife would like that too much. Its her car
It's just a light anyways if you can't find a tear on the wiring then bam next easy/cheapest fix and seatbelts will still work like they should
I haven't even paid attention if that went off. Like when you open the door? What dinger?
Mine have never done that as far as I know. Does that mean its more than the seat buckle? Also would I have to warn the next seller if I was to sell the car?
Just an update I checked the wiring and it looked good. I blew into the seat buckle and the light goes off now. Idk maybe it was just dusty.
Bad news I checked my coolant and it was sludged up . Looks like its lim time
Can I do that with out running water as I live in an apartment and have no way to get any
