I tend to like to bring in headers from below and never really have much trouble with them. ZZP's were a little tighter on room because of the crossover situation. Got it to wiggle in though. SD's are a cakewalk from underneath. Although I really like what Red did with that pipe and could see coming in from above with that setup.

Yeah I found it to be about in between there as well. Probably some variation in the headers though. I'm pretty sure it's less than 45 but that would have worked with how I did my flex. Same as RED, 2 bolts and v-band to remove flex which also allows a little play in your angles.

That's something I don't understand...I've done a ton of header installs and never fought them like some of you guys mention. Makes me wonder if they put a wrong crossover in with some of the kits or something.

No clue but it's seriously not fun.. when SD headers drop in price I'll get another set and I'll modify them. I really hope I don't have to fight with the crossover like I did before. There's no way I could install the headers myself if that happens again.

Im speaking with the sellers on ebay about their headers and they're really interested in the modifications that have been done with their headers. If you guys don't mind, I've sent them some of your modifications so that they can see what improvements need to be made.

I wouldn't care if it was a minor increase but if they get outrageous then screw that.

If they stay around the same price they are now then I'm gona spend a lil extra and buy SLP's. Cheapest I'v found so far is from Thrasher.

I guess i have been lucky with my headers. I installed them when i did the engine swap and then had to deal with them again when i did the topswap. not having a head in the car makes install easier and so does putting an engine that already has the headers on it...

When I installed mine with a friend we did it from the top,it wasn't too bad took 30min worth of angles and fighting lol. I did have to go to exhaust shop and have them open the front header/crossover section since it just wouldn't slide in. I am hating this dip in the dp though I've knocked into a few speed bumps and scraped some low dips, might have it modified sooner or later.

id love to know who and why they thought a drain trap was a good idea to put in the down pipe...........if they re worked them they would use less material really. and should be a quicker build, so lets hope the price stays the same.
