Weird, it was at least an hour and a half of fighting with the crossover. I even messed up the temperature sensor fighting with it.. But this Comp G is my baby. I have around $3,000 into it and all I have left to do it assemble it all and get the body painted and windshield.
I was going to throw in a CAI but i think headers are more beneficial since the car is 100% stock.
My plan was to throw the ZZP headers on and run 3" straight back. Comes out to $1,800.00 total for me.

You guys sure stand behind the SD's lol

Yup you can buy a 3 inch pipe at a angle then cut it up as you need.. I cut the flex as well as the flanges off the rear and brought just the rear header to one of the local exhaust shops and had him bend me a pipe close to the angle of the jig.. I still had to cut it quite a bit but it was a good starting point.. Installed the rear from the top.. Mocked up the angle for the piping then took it all off and had it tacted in place. Brought it back home..threw the header back on and measure the existing length of piping that I needed to connect to the resonator and and threw in the new flex pipe as well as a cat then took everything back off and had it fully welded. Yea it took a bit more effort but a) cars not registered b) wanted it done this way. If the flex or cat ever needed to be replaced it simple to remove and replace and no need to mess with taking the rear header off again.

any reason no one seems to put a V clamp on both sides of the flex pipe? id think that would be the easy way to change it when it does fail. all you would need is a new flex with the v band ends welded on right?
I thought about doing this.. But I wanted to weld as much of the rest of the piping as possible and make replacing the flex pipe or Cataylic converter rather simple if I need to in the future. It's simply removing the the 2 bolts that bolt the flange to the resonator and removing the v band and then you have access to replace whatever you need.

SDs is currently low on stock that's why they jack the price up. Wait a few weeks or months for them to restock and they'll be around the $220 price.

That press bent downpipe hurts flow.
By removing the 'trap' you cost yourself a few hp for sure.

Yea because I'm trying to set world records.. Not really it serves it purpose well. Good enough for me and it eliminated all the issues with SDs. Something your header fix didn't.

Haha! I think I'll be doing this job in two days. I'll probably take the supercharger off and paint it up at the same time while I install the headers. I'll bang off a few jobs at once so that it's all done with.
