The moldings around the windows are cracking and broken in several places. I went to the dealer to find out if replacing them is an option and it seems that almost all those pieces are discontinued.
and they are super proud of the 2 or three that are still available.

The ones below the windows seem like its just a rubberized coating that can probably be removed and resprayed with plasti dip or undercoating or something like that to try and restore them, but the curved plastic around the rear door quarter windows is over an 1/8" thick in places where its cracked or broken off and a thousand coats of spray sounds like an awful way to fix that.

I have a few ideas on what to do to fix this but I am looking for what anyone else may have done.

i took those sills off, theres a screw at the end open of the door look in the plastic cap. loosen or remove the mirror then slide it back. comes right off.

then i cut and sanded off the cracked crap. then painted and clear coated them. i did leave the wiper part that touches the window, i cut a straight line down edge of it.

if you have back doors they come off the same way.

oh, its take the screw out, then lift the trim up a bit, then pull back on it. its got hooks up front to lock it in.

back door, open the front door to get to the screw iirc.
