Just bought the car off of craigslist for $2150...
So far what i have noticed... Needs new door clips ($20 at autozone) Radio display was out so I replaced it with an aftermarket. Front speakers Do not work but tweeters above them do. Speedometer sits kinda high(around 5-10mph) when car is idle in park. Speedometer reads 90 when going 70 I was told one of the car's sensors was replaced to attempt to fix this narrowing it down to less things it could be. Tires and rims are stock so its not that Leaks power steering slowly.
As far as the speedometer goes we have a local shop called spemco that wants $50 to diagnose it. Should I just go with them and pay for them to fix it?
As far as the speakers go since both are silent and not rattling idk if they still might be good and if the factory amp was going bad but since the rears work Idk if thats possible.
as far as the power steering goes im unsure if its a pump leak or a line leak but im assuming you need a hoist to fix the lines and if its a pump the part costs atleast $100 ( guessing) so i was thinking of just dumping $2 worth of fluid in it everytime it gets low since if its not going to hurt it I dont have that much cash to throw at the power steering.
    seeking advice thanks for reading

Try a new vehicle speed sensor.
And by 2001 SE do you mean the SE model or the Special Edition, idk if the 2001 SE came with Bose, so it probably doesn't have a factory amp.
Power steering pump is like $45-$50, you don't need a hoist to replace the lines, just a floor jack and 4 jack stands.

I'm local to you. You can go to us speedo on hill rd and either get that fixed or upgrade it to LEDs and change the faceplate out.

Us speedo is gone be about 120 for the face, led upgrade, and labor. And they fix anything in it when they install it.
