Ok i just got a 90 grand prix from my future father in law for free(couldn't pass that up). I noticed the none of the interior lights work nor the door lock switches or cig lighter. So i tried to replace the fuse and POP it went. So i tried another POP! so i remember in my Cavalier that a coin would sometimes fall in the cig lighter. But nothing..... so does anyone have an idea where else to check? I dont really care about the interior light but the cig lighter is important for my cell charger. Any help and or idea would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Get a 194 bulb and socket. Crimp some small male spade terminals on the ends of the socket wiring. Plug that in where the fuse goes. The bulb will turn on. Then take out all of the bulbs from the interior lights, disconnect the cigarette lighter, or whatever else might be connected to that circuit. The bulb should still be on. Wiggle the boots in the doors where the wire harness goes from the body. The light may flicker indicating you have a short in the door harness. You can wiggle harnesses all over the place for the interior lights or whatever else as well if it's not in the doors. You definitely have a short to ground somewhere in that circuit. Common areas are in the doors, in the door switches, and in the stupid sun visor lamps. Hope this helps.
