Ok, after getting the trunk latch in the top of my head today I need to find some replacement trunk struts to hold this damn thing up. It's not the first time it's tried eating me.

Problem is, there is the added weight of my Gen 1 SLP spoiler to contend with. Are there any recommendations for a replacement that will hold this thing open when it's on level ground?

I usually do watch for it but since it was starting to storm I was in a hurry. Got so pissed off that my 6 yr old heard me from inside the house, lol...

So if I can find new OEM struts then it should hold? And yea, I'm sure these are older ones but they have been replaced sometime in the past per the prev. owner.
