    Hey guys im new here...just a tech question ...wifes got a 04 gran prix .. non sc..trans feels as it intermittently slips at low speed or initial accelleration from time to time ...no codes fluid and filters fresh .. anybody ever had this problem...70k miles ... never had catalytic converter replaced ... should of replaced it when i worked at the dealer...but never had an issue ... just asking befor i pull the trans...thanks all

    Cats are designed to last the life of the car between 5-8 yrs. If they go bad some problem in the engine caused. Don't know much about trannys , ok there was that one time in New Orleans, but back to your problem. I'd ck your solenoid.

    Try cleaning the MAF sensor, a really dirty MAF can cause transmission feeling issues.

    Clean the throttle body aswell.

    Yes its called MAF cleaner don't use brake cleaner or anything like that... it's too harsh
    04 Top-swapped, 3.2 pulley, ZZP 1.9 rockers w/ #90 springs,Mild P&P heads, Pacesetter Headers, Sseilmnop 2" Phenolic Intercooler with stage 3 HE, ZZP billet fuel rails, 42.5lb injectors, 3" full exhaust, all poly mounts,other supporting mods.
    oh and weight addition mods: CTS-V brake upgrade, 14" GT500 rotors
