    Greetings!

    I got the gauge wired and the sensor installed but have a problem. The gauge is showing 3 dashes and the outer ring lights peg when I plug in the sensor.

    I can't find a THING online about the reason.......HELP! "please"

    Are you running really lean?

    It'll show just dashes if you are really lean. When my pcv was unhooked mine showed just dashes

    Try patting the gas a little at idle, just enough to get it to rev a tiny and drop off suddenly, You should be able to get it to swing into the readable AFR, if so, you are crazy lean.

    Tried it...still have dashes. Should it have the dashes even when it's not plugged into the down pipe? I may have a wiring problem, but, I doubt it.

    It's not plugged in? That's your problem.

    if it has no data from the sensor it will stay dead on 14.7 the entire time (IE unplugged)

    Just dashes means lean as **** or rich as ****.

    Does it give you 2-3 letter/number combinations when the gauge turns on?

    The harness is plugged in to the sensor. Dashes is all I get. Mount the sensor in the downpipe, start car, dashes is all I get.

    So, the gauge must be getting data. The car smells really lean, but, I have no idea how to check or change that.

    Wouldn't the plugs be turning black in a really lean condition?

    It's in your sig in the top but not the rest of them. What tune do you have?

    "Halfassery" 2000 GTP, L67 Engine and Tranny,ZZP 3" down pipe, Triple Gauge A-Pillar Pod, 10.5 mm Plug wires, polly dogbone bushings, polly engine mounts, modded fuel rail, #80 injectors, manual boost controller, front plog, turbo crossover and oil feed and return system.TaiL wastgate and BOV.6262 Billet Wheel Turbo and other stuff..........

    If you get zero change in the "dashes" when you blip the throttle, the sensor is likely dead.
