I am wondering if my engine has a timing belt or a timing chain and also if I should replace it. I figure if it's a chain it will last much longer than a belt, but I am at 210,000 miles so won't it wear and stretch eventually? Also I know that the tensioners wear down over time, should I replace that?

You have a chain, and unless you are running a crazy cam or springs, it very rarely, if ever needs replaced. Search and google are you friends.

If it's not making noise, leave it alone. These motors can go well into the 200K range and beyond on a stock chain. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

If you haven't ever changed the LIM gaskets on that motor, then now would be a good time before it lunches the motor from eating coolant. Only then would I suggest a timing chain AND gear replacement since you are almost there during the LIM gasket job.
Here is a link that may help you should you decide to go that route--> http://www.grandprixforums.net/threa...g+timing+chain
