So... Somehow I still have a transmission. Im currently running a 2.55" pulley on a l36 bottom end with a GM Remanned Non hd 4t65e. The only thing I did was add a shift kit and then set hptuners to pull timing into the negitive during shifts. I have had a 2.8" or smaller pulley on it for the last 6 months and I am far from nice to it (We did 6 1/4 mile pulls in less then 15 minutes at the drag strip this last fall) . Trans has 20k on it. Am I a lucky SOB or what?

I was wondering what I should all be upgrading this spring when I go turbo / twincharge. I was thinking 300m shaft and a upgraded chain? Thoughts? Opinions? Mods are in my sig.

Also a video of me doing a fairly mild pull (Only 13 or 14 degrees of timing due to ****ty e85 in my college town. Normally I run 16* because thats what I made best power with on the dyno)

Well. Since you say you have been on a dyno what kinda numbers have you put down? The dual chain setup is good till ~300whp and the single chain till about ~400. As far as input shafts go that will depend on traction and how hard you drive it out of the hole. My guess is it wont take the abuse for long.

I dynoed 298whp on a 3.0 pulley, A stock fuel pump giving up around 5600rpm, no intercooler, and er rockers with stock springs.
    Now I have a 2.55, A 320lph pump, Intercooler, and 1.9 rockers with 105lb springs.

Here is the chart. For whatever reason the chart printed with the wrong rpm scale but it was correct while running the dyno.

I had to change the maf tables for the lq4 but I didnt touch my IAC. I did have a bad IAC causing issues but a trip to the junkyard fixed that. Check and see that your limiter screw is adjusted right on the throttlebody. It holds the throttle plate open a bit.

Nice hp numbers for those mods but damn no torque lol, must be those ERs. Wonder what you put out now.

Its getting another dyno this summer. The 1.9s made a huge difference in top end. It pulls HARD 5500 and up. Currently have it shifting at 6200. Im curious to see the torque. I know that it breaks em loose effortlessly so there is plenty there. The other thing to keep in mind is this was a quick 3500rpm and up pull to establish horsepower. We didnt do any 1000rpm pulls .

If it survives the track day at ice cream cruise then I will be impressed.
