im thinking about getting new headlights for the ol gpse (gypsy) and i was thinking instead of oem, i would get some of these projectors. i have seen two different versions, one is a nice looking, but little ricey with dual halos, and the other is an led triple beam style that looks really ricey... anyway i want to get the dual halos, but do some mods... remove the extra halo infront of the high beam, mold in and paint over the reflector and install a factory reflector... they should look pretty much factory when done, only thing i dont like is they put a bulge in to accommodate the projector and didnt do a great job of blending it...
i really like these because of the way they layed out the lights, the turn signal is basically stock, and the bright, instead of being round, is the extra space leftover from the projector, so there is no dead or flat space like alot of aftermarket projector headlights have

here are some pics of the lights, found them on ebay for like $200 for a pair with an hid kit...
this is not the seller, this is just the best pic i could find of these lights to do a photoshop onto the car

here is what they should look like when i get done
please keep in mind i did this with paint, i dont have photoshop on my current comp, and when i started the headlight was like twice the size of the car

just get the black housed headlights. I would strongly suggest resealing any headlight you decide to get. I got new GM ones from PFYC and they were fogging up today complete f-ing trash.

i second the sealing of the headlights, thay come with gaps and areas for moisture to get in, also alot of the aftermarket mounting brackets suck, i went to adjust mine and the screw that adjusts them broke....... Just crap and it makes your wallet weigh less

if you go the route of projectors they are vented and do not need to be sealed. as for the blackedout/clear stock headlights you do not need to seal them, drill a little hole in the bottom corner of the lens and there will be no fogging or condensation. think about it they condensate because there is no where for the moisture to escape. ive done it to my car and i have not had a problem with condensation again.

Copy/pasted from the thread about these same lights in the Visual/Body Modifications board:

    Pros
MUCH better light output vs. stock headlight housings.
Halos are a nice touch, but if you don't care for them, they don't have to be wired/turned on.

    Cons
Cut-off's too low (adjusting them till the light output is high enough tends to leave a big gap between the headlights and body of the car).
    Some have bouncing issues.
    Some have leaking/condensation issues.
Using HID bulbs will void the warranty.

BTW, if you're planning to take this apart to do anything internal to them, I've read several times that the lenses are too brittle, and don't withstand baking to remove them.
