The water dripping off the blower motor means water is leaking in through the cowl. Their is a GM made deflector to go in under the cowl cover to keep water from ruining your new blower motor. Also check your passenger side floor for wetness and dry it out. With all that corrosion it looks like it may have been leaking for quite some time, make sure no mold is growing under your carpet.
Thanks Quicksilver462. Yeah there is some water underneath the carpets driver side and the floor mats are soaked but they were his and I took and threw them out. need to go to the car wash and soak it all up
Glad you got it working. Still seems like the blower motor is on its way out the way it worked then stopped then came back. The washer fluid, when you go to activate it to clean the windshield listen for the sound of the pump turning on and running. That wire looked like it was easily 4ga. I have about the same in my car. Also if you keep noticing water pooling up in the passenger footwell after rain or washing the car your gonna want to installed the water deflector. You talking about the black piece outside the car that lays down on the bottom of the windshield? I honestly don't think it's leaking. Being in NY with all this snow and boots breaking it in I think it seeped threw the floor mats. When I went under the glove box the cloth cover as mentioned before was not wet just the lower portion of the carpets. But I do know I will keep an eye out for any possible leaks..
I'll also keep in eye on that blower motor. I don't know what happened today but everything seems to be legit so far. But at the moment it works but I have to turn my attention to the power steering pump and the muffler that I assume is dual. which will be a money hog
