JEFFSGTP's GTP couldn't stand the fact that the Disco had 4300k HID headlights and it did'nt. So it made Jeff buy it some, then install them as well.

    Heres proof-

Ha Ha, Yup...my car is nothing if not persistent...turned out good I think. the lights flicker when the car is first started due to battery voltage being low and idle fluctuations etc... all the normal issues with putting HID's in these cars. I broke down and ordered the HID upgrade harness for them...should be here this coming week..so I don't have to worry about it anymore. Then the only thing I need to do is order an MK 111 electronics kit (delay/pulse timer), solder it all together and install it inline after the auto headlight sensor so when the sensor kicks on the timer starts then 10-15sec later...bam HID's on...that will allow me to re-enable my auto headlights....thanks for the pics Chris, its much appreciated.

I had the flicker issue at first also, but the harness completely fixed that problem.

My only regret is that I didnt do it years ago.

^^^ YUP, thats definitely what I am saying....just got back from taking the car out for a stroll around town...city streets, highway and back roads all with people on it and didn't get flashed once. Oh and Bonus...got to blow the doors off some idiot in a dodge ram RT with the hemi in it that thought it would be a good idea to try and cut me off from getting over in his lane so I could turn (up the road about 1/4mi). Punched it right next to him and left him Bus lengths behind .

Nice man! Looks great! Gotta love HIDs, best mod ever. And that harness will fix all of your issues. I have harnesses for both sets of HIDs.

Hey Street Wolf, when are you getting HIDs in the PRIX? You're up next buddy :-)

HIDs definitely helped with my car.......but the G8's stock headlights kick GP's butt. Our capsules aren't the best design for light output.

probably not going to happen...we still need 3 more kits for the Land Rover...cause it would look SO MUCH MORE WICKED with HID's in all the off road lights.
