Need some help and advice on this. As with anything when one thing goes wrong everything does...Murphy's Law right? Anyways I have searched around the forum and looked online but can't seem to find anything helpful on my low bean issue. Here is what happened, about two weeks ago my passenger bulb was out. I was shocked because the last time I had a bulb out many years ago my 2006 Grand Prix told me and I replaced it. So with my lights on I parked the car and taped the headlight and viola...passenger headlight is on again. So last night I noticed that now my drivers side light was out so of course I do the same thing hoping that it would work but no go. So I pulled the headlight and tried to look at the bulb and check for any corrosion but nothing. So today on my way home from work since it was still daylight out I turned my parking lights on only because I hate the idea of driving around with only one working headlight unless absolutely necessary. When I parked I switched everything back to auto and my passenger light decided to flicker and dim until it was completely out. Tried the taping trick with no luck this time. So I hit the internet to find that the HDM may be the culprit. I called around to find some places nearby that had it in stock and swapped it out but it didn't fix the problem. At this point I can't figure out what my next step should be. I am thinking I might have received a bad relay but if it isn't the relay then what could it be? I saw several horror stories where wiring harnesses, sensors, bulbs, BCM, or all of the above without having an effect or only working for a short time. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
