Okay, so im about to drop the engine back in the 00 GTP,

However, the previous over damaged the rack & pinion line and the pressure P/S line, by making a kink in the line when he was tryibg to remove the exhuast fron DP, back to mufflers
(orginally he was not going to include in the sale)

Well im guessing he was careless removing the exhaust and the down.pipe hit the rack line and the high pressure.p/s line and two lines, one being the line that is part of the rack & pinion, and the otger being the high pressure line.

Are these repariable? Or do i need a whole new rack & pinion, pressure line?

If i do how do i tell if the car has Magasteer or not so i can get the correct replacment?

    Thanks

You can buy the pressure line separate, not sure about the one built into th rack. If you have a small 2-wire connector coming off the rack near the boot on the drivers side leading up to the trans area somewhere, then you have Magnasteer.

But what about the line that is apart of the rack? Its smaller in diameter then the pressure line, is this another type of pressure line?
From what i can see, it looks like it comes from the bearbox, and goes into the passenger side of the rack, right before thepass boot
