I am using a late 90s N* maf sensor in a 97-98 style L67 throttle body and NO translator- even with this turbo at 17 psi I am only hitting 11,100hz so there is a bit of room left in it
How much did you end up taking out of the maf table up in the top end?

What track are you going to?

HEYYA DAVE!
figured it was time to bug ya, what with team moose knuckle showing 80e durability so far.
been looking at the weakness's and it seems the sonnax fixes are it, however im looking at the pri/2ndary pumps and the pressure regulator/lube/converter circuits. everything i can see from the pics shows that sonnax doesnt change the 2ndary pump apply/bleed profile over the OEM valve, its just a larger OD for the reaming to remove the crosstalk/sticking.
while it may be that the sonnax spring is stiffer, its also possible its not anything more than oem tension (which seems to vary...) so while a stiffer spring would up the pressure it looks like if you extend the 2ndary pump to exhaust shoulder you could keep the 2ndary pump more active while not drastically increasing conv feed/lube#2 pressure.
i have a few vb/pump housings so far but im looking to aquire more. you have the jig for the sonnax stuff? we're looking to buy the kits so i can look at the sonnax stuff vs the oem. making a new PR valve would be easy.
ive gotta order the actual damn manual but so far i see at least 1 fairly easy way to do a 1/3 trans brake with one external hyd line
but its such a bastard following the circuits without good old fashioned hardcopies/foldouts
80e fo lyfe
regards, James
