The power driver's side seat won't move forward or aft, although the height and tilt adjustments do work. I'm hoping for just a bad switch or something easy /cheap to fix. No indication that the motor is trying to run in the fore and aft mode.
For a short term quick fix, so my wife and I can both use the car (she's 5'3, I'm 5'11), can I do a simple driver/passenger seat swap?
From what I have read on the subject, it looks like I'm going to need to manually move the seat forward by spinning the seat control cable with a drill, or somehow jumper power to the seat motor to get at the rear hold down bolts. Is there only one motor, or is there one for each direction of motion? Anyone have a schematic of the wiring?
