I got some blend door actuators from the local junk yard. Literally, almost as soon as I plug them in, they start smoking. The resistor on the ground plug fries, badly. I have a friend who has access to Alldata and after doing the troubleshooting procedures, it tells me the main control box is bad. I had another control box, so I re-did the troubleshooting, and this time it tells me the vacuum solenoid is bad.

I just got back from the junk yard again, this time with 2 more actuators, main controller and the solenoid. Before I connect everything and possibly fry another actuator, can anyone tell me if the control box I have is the correct one?

I did a google search on the part number and it says it's for a 97-00 GP. I have a 99 GTP coupe. The different model numbers are confusing as well as the different model numbers on the actuators. I have model #'s - 09351482, 09355222. The 222 is the one that was installed at the time the troubleshooting told me it was the issue. I have not tried the 482 yet as it is the one I just picked up from a 98 GTP today.

Can anyone give me any advice as to what to do, please?!? I have my dash removed for this at the moment...
