I am getting power to both the stereo and the climate control unit but no sound from the stereo. The fuses are good. When i change the outlet from floor to defrost etc... I can hear the motor moving the parts that change the flow of air. With the stereo I can change the stations, have a clock etc... just no sound. I am thinking it may be a ground somewhere but no clue as to where to look. It's getting cold here and I need my heater asap, not to mention driving with out tunes is a drag!

thats a odd one for sure. the fan could be a resistor or bad fan.

id check for power at both fan motor and the resistor. if theres no power any where ( car on, fan on ) id think bad ground somewhere, or a bad ignition harness.
