blower motor resister

im trying to replace my resister however the new part the screw holes don't match up on one side anyone heard of this or know what to do to get it to go in thanks

There are two types of resistors; auto and manaul.

You may have gotten the wrong one for your system. Plug it in and see if all the settings work.
